I LOVE OCTOBER! I am going to decorate my house today. I wanted to do it a few days ago, but I haven't had time yet. I have a lot of fall decor that I look forward to getting out every year. I was married in October, & my daughter was born in October also. I am doing better. Luckily, I am the kind of person who recognizes that there is no reason to stress (at least for too long) about the things I cannot change. My mom (& sister) don't want to change, so I just have to let them be. I just wish they could see that there is a better way--& that their way will never bring them happiness. I know I said I was leaving DS, but I need to take little rests in the day, so I might as well take them sitting at the computer, right? I've found that if I avoid the discussions & just focus on my friends, I don't spend nearly as much time as I used to. I love you ladies! Thanks for your support & friendship! PregnancyI still feel nauseated most of the time. I've given up on it going away. Everyone tells me I must be having a boy. If I have to feel sick for nine months to have a son, so be it! I'm going to be thrilled with a girl or a boy, but if this is my last child, I would like to have a son. My daughter still says she wants a brother. Growing up, I always wanted a daughter first. I was the oldest, & I helped out a lot. It just seemed like the way to go. When I was pregnant, I was happy with either one--after five years of trying, I would've been happy with anything! However, I went ten days overdue with my daughter. My doctor said it is more common to go overdue with a girl, so I was happy with it (because I really wanted a girl). I didn't start to feel miserable until the day before she came, so that was good. So anyway, that's how I feel about this (although I'm not sure which is worse--ten days of being large, swollen, and hot--or six extra months of nausea). This baby seems much more active than my daughter was. I wonder if he/she is, or if I just don't remember. I felt that I would never forget anything when I was experiencing it, but as time passes, I realize how many memories fade away. It's a good thing I have documented all of the important things in our scrapbooks! I am so excited because in one more week I will be half way there. That makes me want to jump up and down! I can't wait to have this baby, not because of the pregnancy, but just because I'm being impatient for the baby--the nursing, the snuggles--OH, I AM SO EXCITED! I feel like the luckiest person in the world!
