Catching up

Well I haven't journal led much lately......my concentration has been way off. Still is but I have some time to myself today. Hubby is taking flying lessons. So I have every Wednesday to myself.
Things are good....no ups or downs, just coasting along. My last appointment with my respiratory doctor was good. I have been stable for 3 yrs now and he told me that he seriously thought I would have had to be transplanted by now....so good news!!!!!
I am seeing a natraurpathic doctor and some of the things I am taking are GROSS! But he did warn me that it tasted awful......only bad part for me is I have a real issue with bad tastes......I was nauseous for the first 2 days but it seems to have settled down.....I only have to take it for 3 days per week.
I finished putting the varathane on the new kitchen window so all my plants are back where they belong and off the dinning room table.
The dog is on a prednisone burst.....she had the itches really bad, the fleas got to her before we started the treatments.....so a couple more days for her.
I got through my first fathers day without dad.....hubby and I didn't really do anything which was nice....we did some gardening and then went to the movies. Dad was on my mind all day though and it musts hits home again that he is really gone. But trying to keep in good spirits.
Well the dog wants in and I'm going to get ready and take myself to see "Snow White and the Huntsman"

I saw \"Snow White and the Huntsman\", I\'ll be interested in hearing what you thought of it.
Yeah, those holidays for parents are tough. (Even though my Dad died when I was 5, I used to make Mom little presents and cards for Father\'s Day as well since she was both to me for a very long time. Pulled at my heart strings. I also miss my son\'s father on Father\'s Day. Even though we were divorced when he passed away I miss the man. Geez, that little spill of truth probably won\'t help you keep your spirits up.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL NEWS about the good report from the doctors. Kinda tickled me that he admitted that he didn\'t have a correct guesstimate on your prognosis.

Poor Puppy with the itchies... one of my borrowed dogs (they walk with me and wait for me to show up ) has got really bad bald spots.. I can tell she is miserable.

Peace, Love and Hugs

Great health news! Sorry for the yuk stuff, but if it helps, it\'s a small price to pay.

My heart goes out to you. Father\'s day is passed and now you can return to your normal grieving minus the extra reminders. I think all family holidays are hard on the grieving process. Hugs to you.

So good to get an update on you my friend. I\'ve been quite ill so I\'m a bit late here.
I\'ve seen a naturopath dr in the past & I was pleased with the genuine interest he had in not just handing over prescrip drugs like dr\'s do but he believed in getting to the root of the matter & fixing and controlling it from there. I do so hope that this is a positive experience for you.
We do a monthly treatment on our 3 cats to prevent fleas & we almost got started late also but did make it just in time.

Wow, super late here. I look and look for journal entries, then kind of space looking for a while again, and so on and so on.
I\'m so glad that you are stable with your lungs now. So freakin scary to think of a lung transplant.
I still get agitated on Fathers\' Day. Every year, usually on the day of, my husband will ask me if I sent his dad a card.
My Dad is gone from me. My Dad was my best friend. I resent having to send one to his dad, especially when they rarely speak. Hmpfh...
Hope you liked Snow White and the Huntsman. I adore Charlize Theron.
