Hello Happy About. Today has started GREAT.
I'm not gonna lie. Sunday the 23rd was a rough day for me. Bob and I just layed low and watched football pretty much all day long. Every year that day really eats me up. Then for whatever reason when it's over it's over. I feel like I can breathe again. I still miss Amy, but it doesn't hurt the same. Like Silvfoxx said about losing his son, the rough edges aren't as rough (paraphrasing).
Tuesday, Christmas, we had brunch with all the kids and grandkids and Bob's dad. It was great! Not enough time together, but it was wonderful. The kids stayed at their dad's house for the few days they were in town.
Then Joni and Rooney went to St. George with Joni's dad. Jeffer and boys came and stayed here overnight. We had a lot of fun. My 4-year-old grandson taught me how to play Portal. It's a thinking person's video game. You are robots and you work together to open portals and drop balls and jump the acid pools and get to the next level. My husband and Logan (9-years-old) were going bonkers watching me and Elliot try to play. "Don't go there. Turn left. Wait. Don't shoot that door. Awww." Too funny. Logan said "It is torture watching you guys play." Elliot and I were just laughing and having a great time.
Yesterday I got my infusion. Bob got it on the 2nd try. Yay!
We had a fantastic time with everyone. It is always nice to get back to our sorda routine. Now it is calm and the house is almost back in order. Life is good.

Dee, Your positive journal entries are wonderful. It shows us all if we look hard enough we can find the good in 99 pct of the situations. The game sounds like fun though I am not sure how great I am at taking instruction, (we would have to ask my wife LOL LOL) .

Keep up the postings. They make my day better. -- Take care, Bill
