11/4/2014 Getting Snow Tires On The Car Today
I had to call my credit union to make sure my debit card was not going to be locked out. There's been so much fraud lately that they've gotten stricter with how much can be debited in one day. I suppose that's good in one way, but frustrating in another.
Tires etc will be about $1000. Ouch. 17" rims. Gotta get gas & stop by the grocery store while I'm out.
Group session was great last night. Again, Dawn asked me to relate my experience on a subject that came up & to describe my feelings as I was going through a similar process. Jen even hugged me, because she remembered something I shared at Group a few sessions ago & modeled my response to her particular situation. She was so grateful for my little words making a huge difference in her emotional strength. That was a complete shock to me. Dawn suggested again I go into counseling as a career. I dunno... That's a big responsibility- taking care of other people's minds/souls. I'm just getting straightened out...
Oh! Little Angelica, a member of the Group, loves my new car & she named my car Trudi. Her car is named Esther. The only car I've ever named & assigned a gender to is Ladybug Car. I guess naming cars is Angelica's thing...
Gotta get dressed & spend $1000 on snow tires now...

Yep did that last year, brakes, repairs, rims and snow tires over 2400. But if you buy good quality tires, they will last you for years. I was told that my tires would be the last ones I have to buy. I am giving up driving in 5 to 7 years tops. Will be 70. Enough driving for me.
