Finally feeling better the last few days.  Boy I hate the flu, a week in bed, too weak to do anything.  Horrible feeling.  I never rescheduled my EMG test yet, I don't even want to do the stupid test but I guess I'll make another appointment soon.   I was supposed to be up getting my botox injection today at 3pm, but the doctor's nurse called me yesterday and said he couldn't do it because he was too busy today or something.  So they rescheduled me for Tuesday at 3:15pm.  Guess I've waited 3 weeks already so I can wait another 5 days.   Its just frustrating with these doctors, you try to get the ball rolling on improving your quality of life and living with CP, and everything seems to get delayed for months.  By now I thought I'd have the botox done and the lump removed, and on my way to see the hand doctor for tendon surgery.  At this rate I don't think I'll be ready for that till early next year. I really would have like to have had the tendon surgery done during the winter so I could enjoy the summer, but I guess if I have to be in a cast this summer I'll do it.  As soon as I have the botox done I think I'll have the lump removed because my hand should be relaxed enough to remove it, either that or I was also thinking I might just wait and have the lump removed when I have the tendon surgery done and do it all at once.  Might be easier that way. I guess I get frustrated with doctors because they seem so reluctant to do surgery on me, even for a little lump, they're like try a splint first, try botox first, see if it goes away, but then I think of all these athletes that get injured and they go right in for surgery within a few days of the injury without the doctors questioning it.  I mean given they usually have torn muscles or broken bones, but its still annoying to think they go right in, but I have to basically beg the doctors to perform surgery on my hand.  I just don't get it.   Well I got my last paycheck finally, now I can apply for unemployment.  Now that I'm feeling better I'll start job hunting next week probably, I keep saying that and then something seems to come up.  I almost need a part time job so I have time to go to the doctors lol.   Coldplay - Violet Hill http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IakDItZ7f7Q
