Missing her

I was doing okay, but last night another wave of grief hit. I had a very difficult night. I couldn't sleep. I ended up texting my ex telling her I missed her so much, and just want to hold her in my arms and kiss her gently. She didn't respond.
According to all the advice I've seen here, no contact is the best route, though I can't do that with my son, but sending that text was a mistake.
I missed work this morning and am taking a half sick-day.
I'm meeting with a therapist today at noon.  I hope she is good and can help.

I have been where you are, it\'s horrible. I learned the hard way that NO contact is the only way you\'ll recover, unless you have kids together, you are going to have limit your contact. Good luck with your therapist, let it all out! Good luck, I\'m sorry for your sadness, I truly am.

Oh, I\'m where you are right now, with my soon to be ex. I have made the same mistakes you are. I reach out to my soon to be ex-husband and just feel worse every time. I too have heard of this \"no\" contact thing, and it sounds good...Stay strong! I\'ll try with you. I will have to see my husbands stupid face today while we meet to file for our divorce. I have been off work since Tuesday. Feel like my whole life is coming to a complete stop. 21 years of marriage, and he cheats, just walks away. He doesn\'t deserve his lovely family, but I can\'t help but want to fight to keep it together...but I know that all my efforts will just hurt me in the end. I feel kind of self destructive right now. We need to get our power back...NO communication! Have pride in ourselves.

Best of luck, I hope to hear that we have both made positive progress in life in our near future.
