It's Okay

Things are starting to pick up, 3 groups starting in the next 2 mos. I find myself detaching, a coping mechanism for me when I'm starting new things. It's okay though, it's not like I'm numb or anything, just detached. For a while I thought that if I was feeling that way it was a bad place to be headed for, that I was sliding back into depression. But I'm not, I do know that. I know what the slide feels like, I remember the abyss, I'm not there. But caution is in order, so many things are happening at once. I can't wait for the sun to be back. My dr wants me to take Vitamin D, maybe it will help. Of course my insurance doesn't cover it, so there's another expense. So many people are struggling right now. I thank God for my supports, few as they are, they are always there for me. I wish everyone could have the the help I've had getting through the last 9 years. If I can help just one person see that the abyss doesn't have to be there, that you can get through the struggle and start to see the light on the other side, that time is not a destroyer but a healer, if you can just hang in there. Baby steps, sometimes not even that, but keep moving, keep creeping along until you find your stride. Today I am thankful that I am finding my stride.
