I'm new today here. Just found out diagnosis in March 2007. Not my 1st episode, yet 1st explained. MRI and bloodwork confirmed the Dr.'s diagnosis. Still in exacerbation, 4 months now, with spasticity. Able to walk again, yay!!! Never so scared in my life before. Today is a good day.

I too am in the middle of an exacerbation. I finally regained my strength to walk with the help of a cane. It does make you feel good when you can say that. It\'s okay to be scared. I was scared out of my mind when I was first diagnosed. I did a lot of research on the internet, which helped my fear.
I\'m sure you will make many friends here who will understand what you are going through. This is a great site for information and for making friends.
