Quick Update
Well, DCF called & it seems that they're coming from the angle of seeing what kind of services we might need for the kids, if any, and let us know what they offer. But they wanted to do a home visit. I told them I was against that--and they know that H is against govt agencies & psych stuff. I basically told them that it was going to turn into an argument & cause even more conflict, which I don't need right now.
But it seems that we're only on a low-level with them (good--she assured me that they won't take the kids away), and that the case will only be open 45 days (good). I told her about son's psych eval next week & how I'd determine my next course of action from that. She said she'd follow-up with me next week.
So, dodged that bullet, for now.
I finally touched base with our pastor. Seems like he & son had a good talk. He also tried suggesting firm boundaries, contracts, etc. I pretty much said that I've done all that. Now that he's almost 18, it may come to "tough love", which I sure am willing to do. Closed the call in prayer & I silently cried.

DEAR FRIEND, I CAME FROM A DIFFERENT PLACE AND BACKGROUND, AND IN MY SCHOOL TIME, THE SCHOOL HAD NO POWER TO PUT THEIR NOSE IN THE FAMILY AFFAIR, IT WAS FOR LEARNING, WE HAD ONE GIRL AND SHE HAD SOME PROBLEMS BUT WE ALL LOVED HER AND THAT WAS IT, IN MY OPINION THEY ARE MAKING SUCH A BIG FUSS , AND ALSO INTERFERING IN YOUR PRIVATE LIFE, AND PLEASE DON\'T TAKE IT WRONG, BUT YOUR DAUGHTER WAS WRONG TO SPEAK OF FAMILY PRIVATE MATTERS TO A STRANGER, I AM WEARY OF SOCIAL WORKERS AND SO ON, FROM TERRIBLE STORY THAT HAVE READ ABOUT HERE AND ALSO BEEN TOLD, WE SHOULD HAVE A PRIVATE LIFE, BUT I HAVE BEEN OBSERVING THAT THEY PROVIDE THIS COUNCELLORS AT SCHOOL, TO MAKE THE CHILDREN TALK ABOUT THEIR FAMILY, AND WHILE SOME ABUSED KID MIGHT NEED HELP, OTHERS HAVE DECEN TAND LOVING PARENTS AND DON\'T NEED THEIR INTERFERENCE, ALSO YOU HAVE A PASTOR THAT CARE...I DON\'T TRUST ANYBODY, BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN TOO MUCH ABUSE FROM PHYS PERPETRATED.. HOPE AND PRAY THAT ALL WILL BE RESOLVED, YOUR SON NEED TIME TO GROW UP AND TAKE RESPONSABILITY, I COULD STRANGLE THIS JEZEBEL*****WELL NOT COMPLETELY, RUINING YOUR BOY LIFE, LOVE YOU LUCY***
