Letting Go
Yesterday's post got me to thinking...there are things I need to let go of! I wrote up the following list, thought it looked familiar & then looked at my Journal Entry from Oct 19. That was saying practically the same thing!
But I think there's a difference between thinking a thought in your head, then taking it to heart. Here goes:
I release me from :
- being responsible for other people's problems
- being responsible for other people's anger (or other feelings, for that matter)
- being responsible for other people's failures
- being responsible for other people's misbehaviors
- feeling guilty about my choices, because I know I've thought them through
- worrying about every nit-picking detail that I can't control
- worrying about other people's problems (I'll be sure to pray, though)
- other people's opinions of me
- other people's relationships
- other people's craziness!

Well, I have started to \"let go\" of what is not my responsibility. This post is about the next step--not feeling guilty about it!
