Just an update

I have to say, I'm becoming more & more aware of what is & is not my responsibility. This weekend, we (as church leaders) were required to submit a homework assignment as part of developing our goal-reaching strategies. I did do mine. Instead of asking or nagging about it to H, I didn't say anything at all, because it's HIS job to do his work! (Heck, I do enough of this with my son! And yes, it's his job as well, I know. He just needs to know that the school & I haven't "forgotten about it"!)
We got a new dishwasher on Friday, so I'd taken the day off to accept delivery. What a pain it was for the guys to remove the old one! I almost thought it wasn't going to happen...and to top it off, I'd lost use of the kitchen sink & coulnd't use the dishwasher either for 2 days due to a broken pipe under the sink (long story). But my friend's son came over, fixed everything & hooked us back up for free! So we survived. Boy, I sure felt soooo much more relaxed once it was done, though. You really can't mess with a woman's kitchen!
