Progress

Well, I met with someone from the group that will test my son.  Apparently (based on info gleaned from the "intake" interview), they do a number of multi-disciplinary tests to detemine what the exact issues are.  The results are compiled & recommendations are made.  Then it's up to us as to whether we will implement the recommendations & how they'll be implemented. I also negotiated doing this in as compact & as non-intrusive time as possible. Now the next step (other than gathering p/w, etc.) is to talk to my husband about getting our son tested.  He has been adamant that all of psychology is "out to get our money"  (it's actually my money), etc & gets into a place where he doesn't listen.  Well, he may not listen, but I need to tell him anyway.  I just hate when he gets angry.  Have to contemplate how to couch this...
