Green Smiley Monday
Hi everyone,
Just a quick hello & off to work. I am grateful today for a visit from the beautiful De (Number 9 on DS). She was visiting in the area and we got together on Saturday morning. Ken joined us for breakfast and is now one of De's biggest fans. It was such a joy to see De, share a bit and get a real hug! :)
Yesterday I had Iysabella all day while Christina worked. She is so precious and just loves coming to Grammy & Grampy's house. I had bought her a little play stove and sink to keep at my house so we "cooked" together. She is very smart and is engaging in representative play already at only 11 months old. (well I think she is a genius of course, lol).
I wish everyone a good week.
Love and peace, Linda

So wish I could meet all of my FMO moms. So nice for you and what fun playing in the kitchen. Have a Green Smiley Monday. Peggy
I would love to read her profile...I know You said #9 on DS...but how do I get to it? Is she on For Moms Only? Thanks for your help....Patti (Matt\'s Mom)
De-lovely De is Delightful as always....everyone should have a person such as her in their life....I am blessed. I hope you continue to have those very important cooking times with the grandbabe....I love that time with my granddaughter....love to you dear friend...dale, brandon\'s mom
I believe De (Number9) has closed her DS account. She is definitely a special lady and I\'m so glad I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with her in my home. I hope to see her back with us here one day soon. She is sorely missed.
Enjoy the cooking and baking with precious Iysabella. I am thinking of Kala\'s kitchen which was set up in our family room for a long time. Oh the hours of fun we had! There was also one of those playskool slides in the family room, and lots of ride on trains, fire trucks, and hot wheels, so we had lots of indoor fun! Thanks for sharing and for bringing fun memories to mind for me.
I think she closed it then she was back on for awhile...I have not heard from De since Christmas...she has so much love...Enjoy the cookies...
I am so glad that you had an opportunity to meet with De...and then with Iysabella...so special...but of course YOU are so special...love and hugs...Karen
I\'m so happy that you were able to connect with De and then have that precious time with Iysabella. I too remember my daughter\'s Fisher/Price kitchen set up in our family room. One of the cutest things that she did was cut the cord on the play telephone because she wanted a cordless phone like I had lol Of course, now they come with so many bells and whistles! What powerful healers these little ones are. :)
Hoping your week is going well and sending my love!
XO Joanie
Linda, I am glad that Ken has also been De-lighted with De\'s visit! I am sure wherever De goes, warmth and sunshine follow in one\'s heart.
How nice of you to gift Iysabella with that play kitchen set!...oh how I wanted one of those when I was little! Some of my fondest childhood memories are of an \"aunt\" (in actuality my Uncle\'s girlfriend!) that always brought gifts, usually toys, for my sister and I. Her kindness meant so much to me and really impacted me. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven someday and telling her how special she was and is to me...
You are making such wonderful memories of love with your little angel Iysabella...I\'d love to see a picture of her playing Suzy Homemaker! :-)
Love+Big Homemaker (not that I\'m much of one these days lol) Hugs, Donna
I can relate to taking care of little ones. Jossie my youngest granddaughter is 12 months old and when I watch her with all the bending my back aches for days, but it\'s worth it. We are blessed to have grandchildren Linda. Sending love, Terry
I love the image of you \"cooking\" with little Iysabella! And I love the image of you sharing breakfast with and hugging De for real! Thank you for sharing these wonderful experiences with us!
Sending much love and big hugs to you and Ed ~ Debbie
It\'s good to read a journal entry like this where you are getting some joy in life.
Now you have to promise to appreciate her for me, as my grandkids live too far away. Give a little hug to the baby and enjoy your time, babyhood is so fleeting. love ya, abby
