Green Smiley Monday

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of meeting De, Number 9, for lunch during her travels in her mom's honor around the country. We talked for 2 and a half hours. De is an amazing young woman and we have such a wonderful connection. The gifts along this journey of grief such as meeting a person like her truly help the healing process. We talked as if we'd known each other for years and talked of our love and loss with total understanding and compassion for each other's experience. Hers being the passing of her wonderful mom, JP and me the passing of my beloved son, Ed.
It was such a blessing to meet De and I was so honored she made time for me while on her journey. She is a gift from God and Ed and after we parted my heart was singing all the way home.
