Poem

Hi everyone,
I haven't been on much lately. i haven't been up to it. I have been missing my precious Ed and I have been missing sweet Kelsey a lot. I even missed a green smiley Monday. I just couldn't pull it up. I wanted to share a poem with you.
And God Said...
I said, "God, I hurt"and God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot" And God said, "That is why I gave you tears."
I said, "God, I am so depressed." And God said, "That is why I gave you sunshine."
I said,"God, life is so hard." And God said, "That is why I gave you loved ones."
I said,"God, my loved one died." And God said, "So did mine."
I said, "God, it is such a loss." And God said, "I saw mine nailed to a cross."
I said, "God, your loved one lives." And God said, "So does yours."
I said,"God, where are they now?" And God said, "Mine is on my right and yours is in the light."
I said, "God, it hurts." And God said, "I know."
Love and peace to all, Linda

LInda that gave me shivers. I hope it gives you comfort. My spiritual translation is something like this: Ubi caritas, deus ibi est. Where there is caring and love, God is too. Even when the loved one has died, we know the love is forever.

Oh, the clouds to my south are all billowy and pink in the sunset. That\'s where you are. I\'m sending you much love from the north.
xoxo, Sarah

I completely understand about not being to pull it up for green smiley day or for any journal entries for that matter...sometimes sharing the words of others, as in this beautiful poem, opens our mute voices...

Thank you for these words of comfort.

Sending much love and big hugs to you, Eddie and Kelsey ~ Debbie

LInda, I think someone that works so hard as you on behalf of us all (and your \"day job\"!) deserves a \"break\" every now and then! I love this poem. It is so true. God does know our pain.
I remember the first time I read and understood, when Jesus said \"My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death\" (while He was in the Garden)...He understood the pain of us Moms! I couldn\'t give a better description of my earlier pain of bereavement better than that His description! He not only holds our hand, He understands EXACTLY how we feel, too.
Loving you and Eddie, Donna
