Green smiley Monday

Hi everyone, so I'm writing on my Blackberry since that is my only home computer. This is my green smiley entry cuz I can't seem to actually change my status to a real green smiley face. Anyway, we had my grandson's 22nd birthday dinner at my house yesterday. He requested lasagne & fudge pie for dessert. He enjoyed his dinner & presents. We had fun; laughed & chatted. My DIL & Josh & Christina got 2 new kittens & brought them over. They were from a litter from a stray that had the good fortune to give birth under Josh's girlfriend's porch. Josh's girlfriend's family is keeping Mama kitty & the other 2 babies. Mama cat will be spayed & I think they will all live happily ever after. As I think most of you know, I am an animal lover, no fanatic! So its a good day when innocent animals get a warm loving home. My grandchildren's kittens look nothing alike even though they are siblings. The boy is mostly black, with little white paws & short haired. The female is long haired, buff colored. The male is very friendly & the female is a little skittish. She is polydactal, aka double - clawed so her feet look big for her body. They are both adorable. Somehow I know this will cost me money, lol! My DIL can't afford all the shots & the spay & neuter so I will pitch in. I don't really mind. I'm very happy all these kind people are looking out for Mama & babies. These little creatures are precious too Well that's my green smiley for today. Love & a peaceful Monday to all, Linda
