I have been rather weepy for a week or so. Back in the good old days, the days before my world fell off its axis I guess I really didn't know what weeping was. When Eddie died I realized what it means to weep. I have cried many tears in my life, but on 9/4/09 when I got the news Eddie had gone to Heaven I wept.
It is 6 months today that my son went home to be with the Lord. It is hard, so very hard. My grandchildren & I have been feeling the intensity of the pain this week. The pain of missing him does hit in waves anyway, but it is still so hard to believe that I haven't seen, (physically) or touched Eddie or heard his voice for 6 months. I have received signs & am grateful for them. I do trust the Lord's promises that my son is enjoying eternal life & that I will one day be reunited with Eddie.

Eventually these waves will come farther and farther apart. You will begin to see many more peaceful days. Until then just keep moving forward one step at a time. hugs j
Missing the sound of their voices, the hugs, the touch...this unbearable longing. I think it\'s just too much to take in at once, so we have these waves...thankfully the good waves also come. Sending you a warm hug, Valerie
I know that cry that you speak of...it is from your very core. I remember thinking...these tears are seeping from my heart...and I had never, ever cried like that before. The loss of a child is like a loss of yourself...so now a part of you is missing. You will learn to cope with this loss like a person that has lost a limb. It is such a hard journey, but somehow the human spirit makes us keep going. Love to you friend...and peace and hugs...Karen
I hear you . I know exactly what you are talking about Another thing I used to do all the time was sigh. Crying is us cleansing the soul so one day we can be better again. One tear drop at a time...Hugs, Inga
