Another MRI

Today my GP called a referal for me to have another MRI but just for my lumbar spine . He had me in his office yesterday and ask a lot of questions about SM and my accident and disc problems . Well I had the MRI and then the Radiologist wanted to compare what she had found to my last MRI . So we took her the last one and she acted real concerned but didn`t say anything except that she just needed to compare them . I don`t know what to think ,but my doctor has also set me up to see a new pain specalist and another NS but has not called to let me know when those appointments are or where . He was talking about Lubbock,Tx . for the NS and localy for the pain specalist . At least some one is trying to get something done now and that is great . But why did it take another episode for someone to act instead of listening to me in the first place . Doctors ,some of the time they will listen to their patients and then other times they just seem to not hear what we are saying , as if we aren`t even there .I gues his exam made him stop and examine all the notes that are in my file and then he read my whole file from when I was first diagnosed . He was a little upset that nothing had been done in the past two years and the amount of pain that I was actually in . Oh well at least something is finally getting done .
