Confusion,confusion......these damn insrance companies and doctors must be trying to give us a heart attack.We are so messed up that it is not funny anymore.Tey tell us that we are liable for over 14thousand dollars because my CT mylogram was nor pre approved and the doctors office said they called them and they were told that it did not need a pre approval........UUUUHHHHHHHHH...And to top everything else off the doctor still didn`t have the results of the procedure until his nurse went across the street yesterday after we called to find out what was going on that we hadn`t heard from them in so long that maybe the doc had gotten sick ar died{it has happened before}.THEY HAD DROPPED THE BALL AGIAN>>>>>>>they are worse than I don`t know what.SO damn frustrating.I just want to tell all of them to take a hike{that is putting it mildly}.

I so understand. Someone was telling me they have to have the right insurance codes to make things go through. Have them resubmit the claim. You will have to stand up to the insurance company. We have had our rounds with these issues too. Also the Hospital has a payment plan of some kind; some hospitals except 5$ a month others have a minimum of 25$ - 50$. Ask the hospital to make reasonable payment plan. I am the half a million gal!
