Not much going on this week, just been waiting to see if the doc`s office is going to come through with getting me a referal for PT,and having to find more and more parts for my 55".Sometimes I wonder if it was a good idea to try and get it back on the road.Maybe I should have just gotten something that hasn`t been setting for the past 16 years.Well hind sight is alway`s 20/20.Went to see about how much It would cost me to get a paint job on it yesterday and boy did they think I didn`t know much about sanding and painting because they tried to tell me it was going to cost between 5 and 8 grand to get it painted.I think I can do it myself for about $200.00,that includes sand paper and primer and paint inside and out.I guess they think they can let some high school intern loose on it and not have to pay him anything and stick it to me but I was not born yesterday.I was taught how to do al of that when I was 16 and probably better than I would get if I let them do it.So it look`s like I will be playing like the little red hen and just do it all myself and not let them have any rides in it when it is done.Later,Monte

Monte, I am sure you will do a good job on the car -- probably much better then you would get if you had to pay for it! Your past skills and abilities are still there with you. At the same time, however, please try not to overwork yourself. Tiring yourself out, and landing in the hospital, can be more expensive than having the car painted by someone else. Good luck on the job. Jim
