Went to see my GP this morning ,she is going to get me into physical thearpy to work on my back and neck.She also is going to get the referal people to ok it for me to see a NS in Lubbock instead of going to Albaqurque since I can`t drive myself that far.She even gave me a script for some pain med`s that don`t have codine in them[because I can`t take them because they cause migraines in me]hope they work cause franlky I am tired of having pain and not having anything to take for it .The codine stuff makes it a choice of do I want a migraine or for some of the pain to go away,I can deal better with the pain than I can the migraine.Anyhow I talked to her about the referals and getting physical therapy and then I called Brendy to let her know what was up and she tells me that I already have an appointment to see a NS in Lubbock so now I have to call the doc back and tell her that it is already taken care of and that she just has to get me onto physical therapy.Boy sometimes it just dosen`t pay to try and do things.At least I got my doc to understand that I can`t drive that far anymore without having extreem problems for the next week or so.She did tell me that she didn`t know much about SM and that she was sorry that she hadn`t been more in tune with my problems,but that from what she has read up on it she knows that I am in pain every day and she dosen`t know if the physical thearpy will help or make it worse.If it makes it worse she wants me to let her know so that I can do something different.I just wonder what that would be?More later.Monte
