Ican`t believe that I slept until 6:00 this morning.I guess Ireally needed the rest.It did feel good to go out to eat with my brother and his wife.don`t know if I was much company though. There was a table full of really noisy people behind us and they were cutting up and having a good time,it was just that they were so loud that it hurt my ears.I was glad when they finally left, guess I`m not as healed as I thought I was,Brendy said that maybe my ears are still compacted or what ever the sinus does to your ears when you have the problems that I have had the last couple of weeks.I don`t know but I do have another doctors appointment on Tuesday so maybe she can see if they are still plugged up.At times it is hard for me to hear and then other times I hear just fine if you don`t count the constant ringing in my ears from tinnitis.Only the Lord knows what I went through in that accedent in 92,because I don`t remember anything after the truck turned over on it`s side in the first roll because I was knocked out cold.Ihope everyone is having a good week-end since it is a 3 day one this time.It is kind of funny how you start to thinking about people you worked with or know from your past and then you decide to call them up and find out that they are ok but they have moved on some to better jobs and others just stay the same.I brought this up because I called the Post Office where I used to work and it is like everyone that I know is either retiring or they are still causing problems for everyone around them. One of these day`s I would like to go back there just to visit before everyone that I know moves away or retires. One of the women that I worked with in the PO box section had her retirement party the day before I called {they are forcing her to retire after 40 years}.I know that when I was talking to this one clerk it sounded like she wanted to tell me something but someone else kept interupting her and she said that she would call me later when she wasn`t being spied on.I wanted to ask her if my route that I used to run had grown any but she had to get back to work. She did tell me that they still don`t have a Post Master since they basically locked the old one out after telling him he was being forced out,he made it his life work to harass everyone in the Post Office. He just didn`t care if they were happy with thier job`s or not.I do know that everyone would do thier work and get out of there as quickly as possible so as to avoid him especially after he pulled one of his drinking benges with his glofing budies. It is funny how you miss being around people that you used to work with, even if you didn`t like some of them you still miss just being there.I even miss having to get up at 4:00 in the morning in order to get to work at 6:00.And even going by and picking up my co-worker when her car wouldn`t start or her son wrecked it.Just reflecting back on the day`s when I could do something besides taking the dog for a walk or doing laundry and the dishes...lol...I did check to see if I could get into Auto Body shop classes at the local Vo-tech but they don`t offer it any more.I guess I will have to see if I can find another way for me to get the body and paint done at a reasonable cost on my pick-up.I thought that if they did offer it I could do most of the work myself and maybe evenget a little financial aid because of my disability,my brother-in law is getting his Gunsmithing classes paid for because of him having MS,so I thought why not me.Guess I will have to find something else that I would like to do instead.I better get ready for whatever today has in store for me ,so I will talk to you later.Monte

i know what you mean about missing people at work, even the ones you could not stand. since i have been on disability 11 years now, i have no human contact except with my family and doctors. i feel like i live in a cacoon. i have no idea what is going on in the real world now, my family keeps me really sheltered and i don\'t know if that is good or bad. i have no friends and i know no one is going to come knocking at the door and say hey you want to be friends? this really sucks...xoxo...debbie
