Took Brendy to see the doc today because of her getting sick yesterday at work.On the way out the the phone starts ringing and I thought about not answering it,but Brendy said to go ahead and get it.Well it was her boss and she told me that Brendy`s Dad had called and he is in a bad way so Brendy calls her Dad and the only thing that was wrong was that the nurse had ordered that his Oxygen be discontinued because he has been being tested since his last hospital fiasco and he is staying in the 90 to 95 blood oxygen saturation level even after 1 hour of walking around without the oxygen on ,so they took it away.I would have thought that it would have been a good sign for him but you guessed it he is throwing a fit about it.I think he is just using it as an excuse to not do anything for himself.Mainly because when he dosen`t think that someone is watching he can get up and go about the house without any help or a walker and I told Brendy if you look at him when he is setting in his chair he is breathing through his mouth and not through his nose,so I don`t think he has needed the oxygen for quite some time and has just been using it as a crutch.You know the look at me I can`t even breath I need something else to breath for me type of crutch.Just something else to get attention.Any way I take Brendy to the doc and she tells Brendy that she needs to have some way of getting away from all the stress and maybe she should consider having her Dad placed in a rest home or something like that so that she will have a break from dealing with him.When we explained that we have tried to get him in an assisted living home and the stunts he pulled in order to get kicked out then she asked about any other family that could take care of him and we told her that he has alienated all the family and no one would lift a finger to help,then she suggested that we have him declared incompitent and put him in a nursing home.But then that has a whole different set of problems and right know we just don`t any other problems.But any way back to Brendy and her stomach problems,she was given a stomach coctail that has a numbing agent in it and then we had to go and get a script filled at the pharmacy for her nerves so that she can relax for awhile and then she is to seek some kind of counseling and talk to her Dad`s health care provider about getting him to either commit to more hours or have him do the paper work to do something that dosen`t require us being involved in her Dad`s care anymore.Well I had better go for now.Will talk to you more later.M.
