Here is a small taste of what I have gone through today.I took Brendy to work at 8:00 this morning and then went right over to the Lab and had blood taken for the doc`s office to check and see if my med`s need to change and also check my cholestoral levels,got the papers to get MRI`s done and the tech gave me a phone number to get the appointment and start the ball rolling as far as getting me registered with them with the hospital insurance[the doc`s office was supposed to get the approval done before she ordered the MRI`s]well I called and they said that I needed to get pryor approval to getting the MRI`s,I asked her if the doc was the one that needed to get it and after about 5 minutes I hear her and some other guy discussing this in the background and he tells her that I was right ,it is the doc`s office job to get the approval done,she tells me this and say`s she is sorry for the mix up and I go ahead and schedule the MRI`s for next Monday at2:30pm.So I`m thing everything is going just fine,until I pick Brendy up at lunch and she is having stomach problems[throwing up and look`s pail]but she thinks that she will be ok after she rest`s for a little bit,WRONG ,she goes in the bathroom and start`s to get sick agian and I end up calling her boss and telling her that Brendy won`t be comming back in this afternoon and she say`s that it is ok because she saw Brendy throwing up at work and new that she should take the rest of the day off.Well Brendy was in the bed trying to get some rest and the phone started ringing,guess what it`s the hospital and they are telling me that I am not covered by there insurance,that I`m not in the system.I talked to them and said I now I am in there system because Brendy works at the Cancer Unit and I am covered by her insurance and I have already used the insurance card to go see my doc and get some med`s.They tell me that they will keep looking and call me back.About an hour later they call me back and tell me they found the problem and that I am covered and then they ask me if I need to make the appointment to have the MRI`s done,at this point all I could do was laugh and tell them that I already have the appointment for Monday at 2:30pm.They said that they were sorry for all the confusion and hung up.Boy I guess no one has ever been run around like that before...lol...I think if something like this didn`t happen I would think that something was wrong,it happens every time I try and get something done..lol..Riley`s luck you know.Well I have talked enough for now so take care and be good and learn to laugh,it dose a body good.M.
