We went over to Brendy`s oldest brothers house because it was his birthday yesterday and he has a pool in the back yard.Brendy had me go back home and get her swim suit so that she could go swimming.I would rather swim by myself,I mean there were grand kid`s and just too many people there for me.I like swimming when there is not a crowd around.Any way we visited with their next door neighbor who was our nephew`s only way of getting away from being yelled at by Brendy`s brother,any way she found out last week that she has some stress fractures in her lower back and she is going to have to move to Lubbock,Tx. to be closer to her doctors and she will be living with her daughter but she has this puppy who is a Border Collie and only 9 months old that she can`t take care of anymore.Long story we now have a new addition to our family and his name is Bentley.I thought that is a funny name for a puppy,but he comes when you call him so I guess we won`t change his name.He is a very good looking dog and he has attached himself to us overnight.He is black with a white star splashed on his chest.I am going to have to take him to the Vet this afternoon and they said that they can find out what shots and other things that we need to know from the Vet that we found on a bottle of his medication,and we asked if he can be chipped so if he ever get`s lost we will be able to find him.He is a hand full and wants togo see Mandy our kitty but she chases him out of the room every time he act`s like he is brave enough to try and get close to her.It looks funny this little cat chasing a puppy twice her size around but I gues she has to let him know who is the boss around here.I guess I better go and get some things done around here,like finding out where to get a portable kennel for Bentley to sleep in at night and a leash and collar,doggy bowls for water and food.I also need to get him into some training classes.So take care and I will let you know how everything goes with Bentley and the Vet`s and all the running around that we will have to do today.M.
