did a budget, and guess what - wer're not actually left with 600 bucks a month to spend on our expense accounts - we're left with 91. So that's gonna be awesome to see how J handles that. Also awesome that he hasn't thought even once about this all year and in fact still insists that he's as good with money as me and that his drug habit hasn't caused us any financial difficculties at all. Even though we owe our folks a combined 2600.00 and just got 217.00 for overdraft fees from the bank. This morning I woke up and jokingly said 'you wanna get the kids ready today?' He actually fucking said 'well i usually help but not today.' He honest to god lives in another reality. Its stunning. That's like me saying 'well i usually make you breakfast but not today.' Cuz I DID make breakfast once that he ate some of. And once he did help with the kids after we woke up and I BEGGED him too. What a stupid, selfish, horrible motherfucker. He bitched about doing the dishes (it'd been over a week) - he got all depressed yesterday at all he had to do. Um you mean calling dept of ed like you were supposed to 6 fucking months ago? Or your regular chore of the dishes? Or calling banks like you volunteered to do? He then went on to actually bitch about having to make himself a sandwich. He just can't handle being an actual adult. And he'll never be able to. Never. He's a motherfucking child. And i hate him.

I always felt like my H was my fourth child, so I know exactly how you feel. I grew up in a household where my step-father would take care of business! He not only helped out with chores, grocery shopping (which he actually preferred to do), but he would always wash and take care of my mother\'s car, the lawn was always perfect, etc. I don\'t like having to be the leader of my household...who does?? I just can so feel your frustration! Thank goodness my H is trying to change these things. Either that, or he\'s kissing ass!
Hang in there girl!
yeah! it makes you think it would just be easier without them! I mean if you are doing everything right now, why not? It\'s frustrating. My H is trying to do more and I\'m asking and telling him what I need done. I\'m so over tip toeing and trying to cajole him into housework. Now I say \"here\'s your list of things to do and here\'s mine\". That worked.
Oops! I thought this journal was private and forgot to mark it that way - I would have toned down on the f bombs for the public, sorry ladies:) For 11 years I have taken care of all finances, scheduling, dr.s/insurance/cars/etc., plus holidays/gifts/parents on both sides and kids and household. He is supposed to do dishes every other time, and wash clothes (I fold and put away) - and that\'s only because I had back surgery and can\'t physically handle pulling laundry in and out of washer/dryer. But even that is far far too much for him. I no longer see him as a partner in any way. Which actually makes it easier, because he is the sole worker and provides our money and I can be grateful for that as long as I expect nothing else. Though as you can see above, I do get frustrated sometimes! Thanks for the encouragement!
You can select them to be private--but it\'s YOUR journal. Drop all the f-bombs you want! Just saying!
If it makes you feel better say all the f words you want to. Sometimes I will do that to if I\'m extremely upset.
My ex was damn near perfect. Too perfect. But he was a lousy H anyway and I wasn\'t sharing him with every woman in town.
