I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry...by Hank Williams
Hear that lone some whip poor-will.
He sounds to blue to fly.
the mid - night train is whinning low
I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry.
I've never seen a night so long.
When time goes crawling by.
The moon just went behind a cloud.
To hide its face and cry.
Did you ever see a robin weep.
When leaves began to die.
That means he's lost the will to live
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry.
The silence of a falling star.
Lights up a purple sky.
And as I wonder where you are
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry.
guess I'm showing my age lol..
they just don't sing em like that no more...
ya'll have a good one...
