I'm gonna go shoppin today... my biggest decision is brisket or turkey...
I'm all for turkey and dressin.. homemade dressin..salt free home made cornbread, then again brisket mighty good too... got plenty of cajun seasoning, and maybe some beans..
Beans now thats something I'm gonna do... green bean casarole.. yeah with mushrooms and bacon, the works.. boy don't like green beans..
He's a meat eater... old dinasour like his daddy use to be.. only worse eats with his eyes... don't look good or aint chocolate.. aint eatin it... for reall hardheaded bugger this one... to much sometimes aint healthy... yeah he takes after dad, but don't fool ya self his mom kinda thick headed too...course with her it like being hardheaded without common sense... face it...some one leave a kid for a married person aint usein the noggin... nope... still makes me a tad pissed.. I'm hopein I'll have enuff getty up to make cookies today... yeah real cookies..some peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip...Boy will have em all ate up before saturday evening..so maybe I make him a couple giant chocolate cookies...
If in's ya like to experiment... I do... take a pizza pan... butter it up good ya no fake butter..margrine... so I can't spell it but I can smear it... then flour the pan... cause ya don't want this cookie to stick... some ya'll got them nostick pan (blowsrasberry) okay cool...
pancake mix... fresh stuff no outdate mix... bout a cup or so... depends on how big ya pizza pan is... I just eyeball it cause all ya gotta add is water... I eyeball that too... not too thin now... and couple table spoons brown sugar... I like that stuff... and grab the hersey chocolate slurp... knock ya self out... I eyeball how much I use, yeah that looks dark enuff... yepp... pour that on the Pizza pan, bake at 350 about 15 minutes, turn off oven and let set... yummy cookie specially with them semi sweet chocolate chips sprinkled on it yeah... boy likes it...Pizza cookie... I like apple bake myself...bet you could use just about any fruit on this pancake pizza cookie thingy... wat ever...
now the real cookies that different.. takes more time, well ya'll kknow.
Well five thirty now so take my meds and try to stay awake to get boy up for school.

I wonder ifins I'm up to smokin a turkey... Puff Puff, dang wont stay lite... serious I got a smoker... and it takes about 12 hours to really smoke em up good... but man it's a hassle...keepin the fire up and addin the smokin chips...and it's cold out there ya know... this is wisconsin not Texas... gotta admit ya can grill almost allyear long in central Texas... yepp... miss that O safeway...store...don't miss them fire ants and killer bees... Ya'll can have them ants... darn things...kill my dog... hate em...

Ya know I think about a lot of things... men, women, life, children. How we all fit in the big picture... and I got tell ya... sometimes it don't look so rosey... I see kids in pain and confused... I don't like the future we created for them... and I pray they learn to do a better job... but we have to teach em... don't we...?
