MEMORIAL DAY:
A day set aside to remember those who have gone on before us. With special honor to those who gave up their lifes to protect our Country.
A day to remember we are slow to change. The deaths of so many of our loved ones. The Price of Freedom...
I love my Freedom. My forefathers fought for it more than once. I'm southern born and raised. There is much to honor from Blue to Grey, a war of a nation. There are a lot of things in our history books that are just smoke screens.
How will this latest war be justified?
I will honor those who have gone on before us. Those who give up their lives, to serve their country honorably.
I have little honor for those who send these men to die in a country that does not want us there.
Life sure has gone to hell. High cost of living. Gasoline prices going higher each day. People hungry, homeless, so many without hope... Yes This is Memorial Day, A day to remember... NOT just those who died. REMEMBER THOSE WHO ARE ALIVE. TOO. Those disabled and dismembered by war. Left to their own after having served with honor. Those who get so little care throught the V A , WE HONOR OUR DEAD...
WHY DO WE NOT HONOR OUR LIVING?
