July 31st .  Still in nsr.  Am in a two week process (started 1 and 1/2 weeks ago) of stopping Sotalol (was still taking 120mg twice daily) first week cut to 60 mg twice daily and then to 60 mg twice every other day) the every other day deal didn't work well at the start so (had a quite high..for me..heart rate after a large meal with some skipped beats scary) so I chickened out and  began to take 60 mg once a day every day  (didn't talk to doctor) you have to do some of this yourself.  Don't know exactly what I'll do from now til end of the two week period..likely start cutting down to 30mg (very small dosage..compared to original 240mg daily) and see what happens.  Supposed to stop after two weeks...I'll probably extend a few days to wean off the stuff.  My high resting heart rate has gone from about 50 before ablation to 70 + - after on same dosage Sotalol.  Now is getting up in the mid high 80'as I reach the last hours prior to taking the reduced dosages.  BP stays ok...at least as many low measures as somewhat high measures its all in all ok.
