104 Degrees in Richmond...and counting
Hello. After one of the coldest and snowiest winters on record in VA, we are now having the hottest June/July. Fortunately I can be indoors most of the time with great A/C.
NOT TODAY. It was 104 and my sister and I took Tabitha, her 14 year old granddaughter (visiting from Missouri) out to eat. We had some parking issues, so needed to walk a bit.
Tabitha is extremely attractive with slim hourglass figure and a big shapely butt. You older ladies who remember, think Brigitte Bardot in the original AND GOD CREATED WOMAN.
She's a typical 14 year old girl, enthralled with boys, clothes, music, and make-up. Teenage conversation "he is AWESOME on the guitar, like TOTALLY." We've got a Valley Girl transplanted from Missouri! She'll be visiting her grandma (my sis) for a week. I'm the great-aunt.
Diet wise, I've stocked up on some awful tasting protein bars. The good ones taste too much like candy bars. The crappy ones really help me. Preparing for a 3-day crash (Sun/Mon/Tues. just eating 3 bars and a little fruit, lots of water with lemon juice, coffee w/a little skim milk.
The bars, as I said, taste lousy, but each has 30 gms. of protein, 6 gms. of fiber, and mostly "good" essential fats.
Take care, everybody!

I am joining you on this-
Good luck with the Crash Diet. I noticed you were on Weight Watchers before, which is healthy.
Glad you are enjoying your niece\'s visit.
104 degrees is too hot for me! I\'ve been complaining about our 80s and 90s and high humidity.....hey...I\'m still complaining. I\'m a northern girl who loves the 60s and 70s...the temps that is. It\'s great you are enjoying your time with your sister\'s granddaughter. I have a 15 year old granddaughter and she too is enthralled with clothes and boys. Good luck with your crash diet....I hope it works well for you.
104 degrees - So glad I am in Michigan with only 95 degree weather.
I am curious on how your 3 day crash diets works out for you.
Enjoy your time with your GrandNiece.
Hey, Kellie, wanna be buddies again? And yes, Feeling Rough, I did do Weight Watchers in 2008 and 2009, lost 30 lbs. on it. But somehow in 2010 my metabolism seems slower than before. I am doing the 3 day crash diet (first day is today) to try to \"shock\" a few lbs. off! Valerie, the temp made it to 105. Hottest day in 33 years. But since it\'s been 104 several times, the 105 isn\'t that remarkable.
And here I am complaining about 99 degrees. But it is all hot weather. The secret is find a place to keep cool. It is 8t here in the house. Hope you all are keeping cool.
