I had a busy weekend.  I went to 2 ED support groups (I found another one nearby, yeah!), my daughter had a 103 fever most of the weekend, and the NY Times article I was interviewed for came out yesterday.  You can view it on the web, it's the Sunday, March 2nd edition titled "Starving themselves, cocktail in hand" with a big martini glass next to it.  It's in the fashion and styles section.  I had mixed feelings about it.  I have to re-read it before I comment, but the main point I guess is that there is starting to be more awareness of the need for tx. of both ED and Alcohol/substance abuse together.  I guess it's a good article, I just didn't like one part where she said my ED was raging after I was in rehab.  That wasn't exactly true but you know journalists, they're all about the drama.  I was just hoping it would be more positive and more about recovery.  Oh well.  It's done.  I would love feedback if anyone checks it out.My daughter is feeling alot better now, thank goodness.  It was a couple of restless nights of sleep so I'm tired but I will catch up with everyone's journals soon.  Happy Monday! :-)
