I'm pretty depressed today.  I decreased my prozac by 10mg for two days and then started cymbalta last night.  I can't believe how a small decrease can effect me so much.  I had old feelings of that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach or soul or whatever, I was craving a drink, and actually had the urge to cut.  Weird.  I've been frustrated and wanting to punch something too.  I'm sick of having headaches and other physical pain.  I'm sick of the emotional stress because of my finances.  Maybe I have a little cabin fever too staying home with shmeebee all the time.  I'm so grateful to be sober and to have everything that I have in life but at times I just want to scream - "Screw the gratefulness, life is still unfair and I'm pissed off, damnit!"  But then I just think I'm being childish and I tell myself to shut up.  Well, hopefully my mood will stabalize and maybe the cymbalta will help my headaches.  Hope all is well with everyone, sorry for my complaining on this blahh day.

You have come so far, and I know you are a strong person. I feel like yelling the same thing. It\'s ok to feel that way. I have so much to be grateful for, but it feels like something is missing. That\'s the void that Abe fills. I start every day asking God to help me fill the void. Somedays he steers in the right direction, some days he takes me down different road to keep me honest and grateful. Maybe he just wants you know that you are human. Love ya...

Weird that the meds would have that effect after only two days. I don\'t know. Your head sounds a lot like mine \"I want to drink, I want to cut\" I have those urges all the time. Life isn\'t fair, just don\'t let your gratitude fly out the window. XOXOXO

I hear you. We should be thankful of all the things we have...but I can tell you honestly, it HELPS to complain and feel a little dismal sometimes.
It just may make the good times that much better.
