Et
Well, we have a ET yesterday and all I can say is that i'm a little shocked. Of our 15 embryos only 4 made it to day 5. Two of them were not looking good, the doctor doesn't think we will get to freeze them. The other 2 we tranfered, but here is the thing they are alittle slow in their development and they were not blastocysts yesterday. Please keep these babies in your prayers. Thank you

I understand completely. I had 12 mature eggs and on day 3 had only one 8 cell embryo and two 4 cells. Hope that the two you transferred are snuggling in tight.
The only time they tried to get us to day 5 transfer was for our 5th cycle and we did not make it and ended up transferring on day 3. Not many make it that far so you are doing good, even though it does not seem it. I will pray for your little embryos to get all snuggled in for the next nine months! :-)
Thnak you ladies!! Thank you for all your support
Wow, your journal looks so much like mine! I also responded really well to the meds. I also had a high E2 level 4,240! They made me coast for a few days till it came down a little. It came down to 3,300. They retrived 21 eggs, 15 were mature, 10 fertilized, on day three we had 1 great 8 cell, 2 good 6 cell, and 7 poor 4 cell. You for sure got better embies out of your cycle to be able to transfer on day 5, but I still wonder if I had not produced SO many eggs and if they had not had me coast would I have ended up with more high quality embies? I am so with you on the extreme HIGHS and lows of an IVF cycle!
Hey, just found out today that our 1st IVF cycle failed.......we did great throughout the stims, the office couldn\'t have been happier and we got 16 eggs at retrieval. The following day though we found out that 5 were immature, 8 were abnormal and only 3 could have ICSI, and only 1 fertilized. It made it to a good looking 8 cells on Day 3 and it was transferred back but without sucess. We are now thinking about what we want to do next, a new plan for a 2nd cycle, etc. Where are you at with things?
