Depressed

Since Kenny has gone, everything seems to have broken in the house
or the car. He was always able to fix everything . I have such a hard
time asking for help, but what do you do? I feel so alone without you
Kenny. I am more lost now than I have ever been. I can't sleep most
nights, all night anyway. I have never felt so much alone as I do now.
Even with this Daily Strength site, I can't seem too give any good
advice to anybody. So, it makes it hard for people to want to be my
friend on here.
However, I can read the discussions on here, and I do get a lot
from that. So, hopefully I can grow from what I read here.
Kenny, I know you would be telling me not to give up. I will do
my best for you and my family to keep on going on.
I miss you so much Honey.

I know just how you feel. I read peoples messages and I don\'t have anything helpful to add. And the same is happening in my house with things braking. The garage door broke the other day and it sent me into a sobbing fit. This site has helped me to see that I\'m not alone and I can say things here that I\'d never say to anyone else. Everyone here understands. I\'m very glad to be your friend here on DS. xx

I just remembered that your husband passed away just 6 days before mine. I guess we are at about the same stage with our grief although I know everyone is different. I\'m am having a very hard time at the moment. It\'s like new levels of grief constantly arrive. If I didn\'t have my children to keep me going I really don\'t know how I\'d get through.

I feel the same way, my husband would fix everything too- aren\'t the nights just horrific, they seem so long, I just seem to watch TV for the distraction- I wish I could be more encouraging for you but how can I be when I can\'t seem to help myself, so don\'t feel bad about how you feel- our husbands were everything to us so we can\'t expect to feel happy. You can always write to me, I\'ll understand because I\'m feeling the same. Hugs, christine
