Here is an update on my life and recovery. I will be receiving my 8 year chip in Feb 2016. I got custody of my son last year. He has been living with me since 12/14. Life has been really good. My oldest daughter is still playing mommies side, even though things have been over for awhile. I let that go and decided she will just have to figure things out on her own. My youngest daughter is so much like me. My greatest joy is having her stay with me. I am still not dating, not really wanting to. I am so busy with kids activities, my own actvities that there wouldnt be much time for a partner. I am approaching 45 soon and starting to feel my age more than ever. I still attend AA meetings atleast once a week. I dont want to fall back to the old ways of thinking. I have learned to play a new instrument. My father passed away since me last journal entry. He was in alot of pain so his passing was a blessing. My dog and son keep me really busy when I am home. When not at home I have found a lot of extra work coaching the debate team. My son will graduate from high school in the next two years. That is the next struggle I will have. Letting go and watching him become a man. I will admit I have fears, but I trust God\'s will in this. 8 more years to go until I can retire!!!
