Well I hope everyone out there in DS land is doing well. We take one day a at time here,.Our daughter who had placed in a residential treatment center is struggling as therapy is startingto take effect. but she works very hard at following the rules and when she does struggel they are there to help her.. everyone there is nice although I have issues with the one nurse. she has a attitude and that is something none of the girls need,. Our daughter has ben dx with ODD wich they are saying she does nothave,, a blessing but yet we still do not know what we are dealing with, however we do know there is trauma somewhere down the line and we are looking into that.. wich is a nightmare, because you feel guilty has a parent that something may have happened to your child and you did not protect them enough.., we knowshe has severe mood disorder.but they say that can be because of what she is not dealing with, she also has depression, wich also comes from that.. it wasvery hard to put her in a center, we have always taken care of our kids and dealt with their issues and anything else that came aklong, but things were just getting out of hand and she was a danger to herself and us. we have 3 othere kids and it was effecting them,, my husband is a truck driver and he is not home duringthe week only weekendsm so I was basically doing it on my own, and even when he is home he had no clue how to deal with it, so he did not . they have a very close relatshinip and this is killing him beccaue he feels like he has failed her as her father,, we miss her and love her we do not miss her anger and outburst and meltdowns and physical aggression, we did not really realize how much she had control over us until she was not here,.,. it has given us time to heal as a family and her time to heal in whatever has caused this.. she still may have some dx, we know she has anxiety she has had that since she was small, and some ocd. but it is a wating game and not a easy one, but sheis someplace safe and that is helping her, to learn to manage and control and deal with her issues in healthy safe ways,,  the first day we took her was a hell I would not put anyone through,. but as we have walked this journey we have realized we made the right decision, for her because we love her and love is not always easy. we see her every two weeks and talk to her daily at least twice,, I ask that she be kept in prayers as she travels this journey in her life,, thank you all out there that have been there for me.. you are all a blessing to me,,
