10 Months - Sleep

Labs normal, urinalysis tests unremarkable, appointment with my psych went well. The extra sun/Vitamin D we've been getting has probably helped.
My sleep patterns have been changing again. I have a harder time falling asleep, but haven't been experiencing the middle insomnia as much. And I tend to wake up bright and bushy-tailed after seven or eight hours. Seems I've completely converted from a night owl to an early riser.
Since Lithium helps straighten the sleep cycle*, this makes some kind of sense...except that I was a full night person on Carbonate. So I'm not sure if there is a connection between this change to a morning person and the Orotate, or if it's just coincidental. I don't think there is really a way to find out, since I would have to experiment by switching between the two - and that seems like a really bad idea. :) It might be interesting to contact other people using Lithium Orotate and see if they had a change in sleep pattern, or if they happen to be early morning risers.
It has been a long, long time since I felt refreshed on 7-8 hours of sleep. At one point in my life, probably during an extended Manic period, I was feeling great on three hours a night plus a one hour afternoon nap. [I was undiagnosed.] During that time I met a person who had been getting 2-3 hours a night, for decades. At the time I thought she and I had found some sort of low-stress sweet-spot in life...now I wonder how she's doing today.
