10 day check!! & Happy MLK!

I have made it to 10 days of NO SHOPPING, WHOOT! Small steps, small rewards. I feel so good. You will not believe how much more healthy my bank account looks in only 10 days!! CRAZY. Also, its a testament to just how ill I am. SO much more money I could have saved up by now. smh. Anyway, it's all GOOD. I am on my way. I don't feel the heavy guilt that typically sets in by now! I feel more like a TRUE adult. I have taken light control of my finances. I even paid a medical bill with some of the money I saved in ONLY 10 days, rather than splurging on a pair of heels I do not need. Jounaling is definitely helping me a ton!! I feel like I talk too much, but it helps!
 
In other good news, I am snowed in today and had already began to shovel around my house once. Well, I was actually mad at myself that I did not get to the grocery store last night. Anyway, my family was out and about on this holiday (they have a truck)....they stopped over and helped me shovel again and brought me some food!!! How awesome  IS THAT! Now I do not have to leave the house at all and when I go out to shovel, yet AGAIN, it will be much less. I am feeling blessed today.
I have other issues I can easily complain about today, but I am not!!
It's a day of rejoice, overall,( I am an African-American woman)We can ALL celebrate today TOGETHER! Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Day!!I feel THANKFUL TODAY!
