10 days!
I am 10 days short of being 10 months smoke free! A friend of mine at work has decided to quit and he is now 1 month free. We've been walking together on our breaks. One thing I've learned from Al-Anon, is that it's always a blessing in disguise when new-comers come into the picture, because it helps remind you where you've been and where you've come from. Mark is not using any kind of help with quitting, and I wish him all the best. I just know that I couldn't have done it any other way. I'm glad that I used chantix, not because of the medicine itself mostly, but because the program REALLY helped me to learn to identify my reasons and triggers and develop alternatives to those habits.
