Wow...Almost 5 years...
I just needed to write tonight I guess. Let me update first. Reading my last entry from 2011 I was talking about going into real estate and all. Well a lot has changed in 5 years, I think for the better for the most part.
First off, I did buy an investment property in May, I had some issues to start off but its going smoother now. I had to hire a property management company but it was well worth it, they do a lot of the leg work.
As for my job, wow, not sure where I was 5 years ago, I think unemployed. Well back in 2012 I got a temp job, and I was a temp for 2 years unfortunately. The good news is I've been full-time at this job now for the last year and 3 months. That's how I was able to buy my investment property.
My love life...Boy has that changed...Here's the story...
Back in August, a lady at my work came to me and wanted to set me up with her daughter, pretty flattering actually. So I said sure what the heck. Well I went to a music festival and we hit it off. She's very beautiful and so sweet, and after 5 months its only gotten better.
I was very depressed before I met her and she has really put my mind at ease. I'm much happier now, and at peace I think. I still have my bouts with depression like tonight, but its better, a lot better because of my life situation now and all.
I'm still living at home with my parents, but in the spring I hope to finally get out on my own at age 32 lol. Rent is very expensive where I live so I might actually just try to buy my own home which would rock!
As for being depressed tonight, its because my girlfriend is going to Florida next week, and I won't see her for a week. She's going to see her real Dad with her sister and her sister's boyfriend. She's pretty sad about going because she told me she doesn't want to go without me, but her Dad I think has had this planned for awhile and probably didn't realize how serious it has gotten between us. He did say next time he'll bring me down which should be cool. That and he paid for all the plane tickets which is probably expensive as hell.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll write about that more in the coming week. It was also my gals birthday on the 5th, and we are having a party on Saturday, then Sunday will most likely be the last time I see her before she flies out next Friday because she lives about 45 minutes away and I usually only make it up there on the weekends.
Well...not sure if any of my friends are still even on here, but its nice to write on DS again. Till next time...
