1/28/12 TTC Update CLOMID!
I'm so glad I've made it to CD3! Got up this morning after some much needed sleep and had me a nice cup of coffee and just sat in bed with my love :D. I went ahead and took my first 50mg Clomid ( I hope it doesn't make me too crazy lol). I already went over the dates with my bf when we need to BD... I guess we will start around CD11 or 12 up till CD20 and BD every other day. But BD every day b/t days 12-16. I'm also going to throw some Dollar Store mucus relief in the mix to help thin out my cervical mucus and of course I still take my Metformin 500mg 2x's a day. I'm so excited!!!
I went and had my hormone levels checked yesterday...btw... that Dr. that poked me didn't know what the HELL he was doing and he really did hurt me! Nobody that has drawn my blood has hurt me before :(((. I don't know when I will get the results... I guess when I go in on CD20 or CD21 to get my progesterone levels checked, they will go over the results with me then... and then I go back again on CD31 or 32 to go over progesterone results! If I ovulate this cycle and I don't have my period by that time, of course they will do a pregnancy test, if I don't ovulate (which I hope I do), then we will probably discuss increasing my Clomid dosage. So I guess that's a lay out of things to come!
Oh, and I went to the movies last night with my good old friend, Kristina. We went and saw Joyfull Noise with Queen Latifa and Dolly Parton. It was an okay movie I guess, kinda funny. We went out to eat and I bought a new shirt. They've changed up the dress code again at work and have gotten a little stricter since some women don't know how to follow the dress code. Now we can't wear t-shirts at all. Just sweaters, button up shirts, and blouses. If you come to work wearing something they think is not "dressy casual" then they send you home to change and you have to come back on the weekend and make up your time errrr! I'm really thinking about finding another job after tax season! My goal is now almost $8k and it goes up more and more each month and it's getting harder and harder to reach. I don't know what will happen with my insurance and Dr visits though. I guess I will just see if I get preggers and if I do then I will stick it out till after I have the baby (which if I get pregnant first cycle will be around October or November!). I guess that's all for right now... I will give an update asap. Oh and PS I will be charting my cycle on FF!

congrats on starting clomid! that is so exciting! and i think FF is awesome! its definitely been helpful to me!
Aaaaah the clomid memories! Keep positive. I went really hormonal and emotional on Clomid (i\'ve heard thats rare though so I wouldn\'t worry too much). While on Clomid my cycles went to 35 days and I didn\'t ovulate til day 21 so don\'t freak out if you dont ovulate on day 14-15. Sending Baby Dust
