Hi all DSers! I'm feeling really good for the first time in a few weeks. I went back to the dentist today! Got my courage up and stopped in during my lunch hour and they had an opening after work, so I went and got my teeth cleaned! My girlfriend will be surprised! My dentist also said I had no cavities, not bad for a good year and a half! So all I have to do now is get my Invisaline braces on, that will be a long process though, like 2 years. But it will be worth it. The only bad thing my dentist said I might lose one of my teeth because my old dentist messed it up and put a crown on instead of doing a root canal which may have saved the tooth, so I will need an implant after my braces are off, but that's a ways down the road! Great news overall, I'm very happy my teeth are still in good shape.
I always feel bad because with my CP I get shaky when she works on me because of my nerves, but I took a GABA pill before I went in and it relaxed me a lot. I sweat so much too lol. But everyone is so nice in the office, and I'm glad they weren't mad that I hadn't been around in so long. It's great to finally have insurance too, helps the costs a lot.
I'm going up to see Jenna a day early on Friday after work and sleep over instead of Saturday, she mentioned it and I said sure honey! :) I guess she misses me! I just can't wait to hug her! And I'll have clean teeth for her! Yay! :)
We have an intern starting on Friday at work, she seemed nice on the phone, I'm going to try to make it fun for her because she's not getting paid, which stinks. So I don't want to work her too hard. Wouldn't I make a good boss? lol. I will pretty much be the boss in February because my boss is going out on leave when his baby is born, so me and the other lady will be running the place haha. But we'll have fun. Life is too short not too!
I'll be really busy tomorrow, so not sure if I can journal. I have to fuel my car up, wash my car because of the road salts, come home and do my laundry, pack my bag to sleep over at my girl's house. Well at least Friday everything will be done! If I don't post, have a good weekend DSers!
