Well the blizzard is all over, we got almost 30 inches! I'm sure that's a record. Took me an hour just to get to my car door yesterday! I rested in the house for a hour, then went back out to finish up for about another 2 hours! I'm really sore now from shoveling, going to take a hot bath in a bit and see if that helps. Next time I'm stretching out first, I always forget to stretch haha!
We might get another storm Thursday night, but it shouldn't be as bad if we even get it. I usually love snow, but I really want to see my girlfriend this weekend, it will be 20 days since I've seen her pretty face in person. :( We still have Skype which I'm starting to love because at least I can see her on video cam.
Our love seems to still be as strong as ever though, so I think this relationship can work long term if we can last almost a month without seeing each other and surviving her trip to Florida. We may have bent a bit, but we didn't break. :)
In other news, my stupid property management company dropped the ball again, they never setup a snow removal guy, so they email today, 2 days after the storm asking me permission to setup a contract with someone! I'm like are you serious? Why wasn't this setup a month ago? I wonder what the heck I'm paying them for sometimes...I just hope my tenants aren't mad, I don't want this on me and I really don't want to get sued if they fall on the ice or something. I've been very nice to the property management company, but they need to get their act together fast...I don't need any more headaches. Oh well, I told them to get someone out there asap! So I hope someone goes out to the house tomorrow morning.
Well I can't worry, I've been stressed enough over the last few weeks, and I'm just starting to feel better now that my girl is back and I think my sinus infection/cold is passing too. Better days ahead! Off to soak in a nice hot bath! :)
