1/2 Way There...

Mom got through her dr. asst. visit; got more pain meds + 1 refill & even managed some x-rays.  Dad and I rented a comfy wheelchair for her & that made the diff.  On Tues. night @ 9:00, Mom will have her MRI @ the hosp., using the open MRI machine, for comfort...she is more comfortable, but feels bored & I know she can't be having fun, spending time in only 2 liftchairs, in the house... Dr. Asst. thought that she may have a compression fracture, but wasn't sure...they may use that space-age "cement filler" method to inflate the broken matl's & fill in the cracked gaps.  One of our family friends had the opp. done, when her vert. between her shoulder blades gave out; they injected the same stuff, but fused the verts., instead, to keep them fr. grating against ea. other...in Mom's case, it will be to "straighten" what's come unfused...but, we  won't know for sure, until all of the testing is finished, around 04 June... My blessed thanks to all, for the positive focus and prayers and good wishes! :>)  U R All the best! :>)
