Went back to work today, my boss's wife called and she might have been going into labor, she was real close. I ran over to my boss and said call your wife, she said its urgent! He called her and then went flying out of the office. Pretty exciting lol. Hope everything is okay, he said he'd call us tomorrow. He's taking a month off if the baby came so I won't see him for awhile I think.
I'm living up to my New Year's resolution tomorrow and going back to my dentist if she'll take me back. It's been like a year unfortunately, I'm just going to stop in after work on my way home. What happened was when I first went I was a temp employee at my job and I was uninsured so I was paying cash for everything. Well my job kept leading me on and finally 2 years later I got full-time with benefits. By then though I had other bills and expenses and I just ran out of money really, or at least money I could spend on my teeth.
That's what these higher ups don't realize how they can really affect someone's life by not getting them in and getting benefits. Well I just hope my dentist takes me back and we can finish what we started about a year ago. I'm sure she will because she knew the situation I was in back then and how frustrated I was. The good thing is we did a lot of work back then so hopefully I'll just need a cleaning and maybe a few cavities filled. I also need a crown replaced that my old dentist really messed up, he made it way too big and now its old so crowns get discolored after some years. Other then that I should be good, I do need Invisaline braces too, but that's nothing.
I'm actually looking forward to going back because my work is like 5 minutes from my dentist now because I got transferred when they brought me in full-time, whereas before I was a good hour's drive away. So now instead of going like once a week for an hour after work, I can go like 3 times a week after work for 20 minutes each appointment.
Because with my CP I can't sit still for an hour in a dentist's chair with stuff rammed down my throat, short appointments are better for me, I can deal with 20 or 30 minutes tops without freaking out lol. It was very tough for me last time I went, but I needed a lot of work done back then so I had to suck it up. Should be a piece of cake now. They are going to be shocked to see me, I hope they remember me haha...It will be nice to have clean teeth again for my girlfriend, maybe they'll give me a quick cleaning tomorrow when I walk in? And I can surprise my girl when she comes back! :)
BTW, 5 days down, 4 to go! I really hope this darn snow storm goes away or comes in sooner so I can see my gal this weekend...
Might sound stupid, but last night I prayed to my grandpas who passed away to watch over her. Even though they never met her, I know they're watching over me and I know they see how much happier I am because of her. So I said, grandmas tell God to watch over my girl and bring her back to me.
