Good news, I don't have skin cancer! It was a ruptured cyst. Thankgoodness. Also, I got a call this morning that I was approved for Long Term Disablity up to 24 months. That's very good new's!! Very Happy about that!
I went to see the new pdoc this morning, he took a through history and explained to me that he would recommend me going in the hospital to come off all 5 of these medications. At first I thought maybe I could find a friend or family member to watch my son so I could go in the hospital right away, but I'm trying not to be too disappointed by all the "no answers" I received. The new pdoc increased my Luvox 50 mg cause he thought that might help stop my constant crying .. he also wants to wein me off of my adivan cause it's sooo addictive and being an alcoholic it's better to be on visteril for anxiety. The new pdoc said his goal would be to get me on 1-2 meds. I have been on every med before so there's not much new to chose from.. I am glad I went to see him, but I am scared to make big changes in my medication. Just because I have been on every medicine under the sun and nothing has worked for me. I have mixed feelings about starting with a new pdoc.
I told my X- Mother in Law last night, even though I was never married, that I have been really struggling with my depression since September and I asked her if she could help me with Sam so I could go in the hospital. I even mentioned Sam finishing the school year there in Memphis with his Dad and I got shot down.
Honestly, since going inpatient is not working out for me at this time, I am seriously considering going back to St. Lukes and doing the depression outpatient program again. They have a nurse there who checks your medicine. It did help me quite a bit last time. It might not be a bad idea since I am struggling so much with this. I hate that I have to go back again, but I cry all the time.. my depression is absolutely debilitating. It's hard to do anything, nothing seems to help it. I am so grateful for DS and my great friends on here, your really important to me. xo
