1/13/2015 Good News!

Today is a day I never thought I would see. Ever. I saw my Neuro for a followup. She said I am no longer at risk for an Epileptic seizure.
Now, this took my whole ride home to finally sink in. I am at risk for a seizure due only to withdrawal from my epilepsy meds or from taking a med that I know triggers seizures, not from the Epilepsy itself. Lifetime minor risk of triggered seizures, but never from Epilepsy again.
I have overcome an insidious disorder.
