1/11/12 TTC Update!

So I went to the obgyn today and the Dr. was very nice, SURPRISE!!! I told him I have been TTC for over 2 yrs now and no baby (except for m/c). Of course he brought my weight into the picture (btw I've gained another 2 lbs :() He told me the same that every other doctor told me, that losing weight will help my PCOS. I know, I know... they make it sound like it's easy or something! But I am taking in to consideration that I really REALLY do need to lose weight, now that I'm a whopping 255lbs!!! OMG. That makes 30lbs I've gained in the past 10 months since started my job errrrr! I also went for an u/s today and I got to see my ovaries and was officially "diagnosed" with PCOS... being that I have several tiny cysts in my ovaries :( The Dr. also informed me that my uterus and ovaries sit up high :/ the u/s tech had a hard time finding my ovaries! But my uterus looks good!
The Dr. did go ahead and prescribe me clomid though! WOOPEE!!! I am starting out 50mg/day from cd3-cd7, and then going back to check my progesterone on cd19 or 20 to see if I ovulated! We are going to try clomid for 4 cycles... If I ovulate and don't conceive, he is wanted me to do the procedure where they put dye in your tubes and check for blockages and also do a semen analysis on my boyfriend (haha... he has to ejaculate in a cup lol) Well my period isn't due for another 10 days so I'm hoping (for once) that it comes early so I can hurry up and start! Hopefully by the end of this month! Will keep an update!
