I'm doing very well this afternoon/ evening. I've done a lot of thinking in the last day or two. I really feel like this is not the end of the world. Every time I feel anxious I tell myself "Sarah - it's JUST anxiety. It's not a disease, there are not zombies after you, your hording, parking space stealing neighbors ARE trying to drive you insane, but you can get through this. It's just anxiety." I think everything just came to a head. I think that in the last year I hadn't realized it but I had been searching for something and now that I met the man of my dreams (I think) I have figured out what it is I've been subconciously asking myself. I've been wondering all this time, "what am I doing here? Why am I here? What am I supposed to do?" Add to that that the "emotional sensitivity" i.e. STUPID MENOPAUSAL HORMONES that I've had, have had me on edge because of all the human suffering I see on the news and hear about. I hate hearing about that stuff and I feel like there is not one damn thing I can do about it. If I save one person or save one animal there are still millions more to be saved. I have to accept that I can only do so much. Even if I save one, it is what God has allowed me to do and I have to be greatful for it. I can't wait for tomorrow. :)
